Home, for nowPosted: June 6, 2016 Filed under: Romance Novel Convention, Secret Project, Talk to Me, Uncategorized, writing, Leave a comment
Yes, Just as it says, I’m home from the Romance Novel Convention and exhausted. But I don’t get to rest (at least not too much) before I turn around and head off again, this time to go camping for a week.
How was Las Vegas? Amazing. I met a bunch of people and made some great friends, and on top of that, I learned just as much! (And I managed to get 23 pages of handwritten stuff done! Now I just have to transcribe it!)
My notebook will go camping with me and I hope to get just as much written next week, we’ll see. I’m continuing to work on Ruger’s story so I just hope he keeps talking to me.
How was your week?
Packing, packing, checking the list.Posted: May 29, 2016 Filed under: Romance Novel Convention, Talk to Me | Tags: books, classes, Las Vegas, Romance Novel Convention, sale, teaching Leave a comment
That’s what I’m going to be doing over the next couple of days. I’m getting ready for Romance Novel Convention in Las Vegas and I leave early Tuesday morning.
I’m excited. The whole trip will be a lot of fun. I’ll be teaching several classes and I have a space at the book fair on the 4th (open to the public! If you live in the area come on out!) I’m not sure how much writing I’ll be getting done but I have lots of other things I’ll be doing. I’m looking forward to a week of not having to feed anyone but myself, not having to make sure anyone else’s clothes are ready, or that anyone is doing their chores. What do you have planned for the next week or so?

Appearance ScheduledPosted: January 20, 2016 Filed under: Romance Novel Convention | Tags: Appearances, classes, Romance Novel Convention, signing, tour Leave a comment
I know, signings, tours, etc. While once the norm are not common unless the location is semi-local to the author or the author is someone huge like Stephen King or James Patterson. Well here’s a new one for me.
Romance Novel Convention is scheduled for June 1-5 in Las Vegas and I’ve agreed to teach not one, not two but FOUR classes. Right now we’re working on exact titles and descriptions for the classes but I’ll give you details as I have them. But if you want to see me, this would be a good opportunity!
