RELEASED BY DESIRE
Teya wakes one morning to discover an unknown man lying beside her. She soon realizes her bedmate is the man she’s been dreaming about for more than 2000 years.
All this time, she’s believed he was merely part of her imagination, but she was so wrong. Jericho is now here, in the flesh. In the last place she expected to find him—her bed.
How will her fellow Quetzalcoatl take it when they find out she wants him? Much less the entire dragon Fraction of Las Vegas? Will the shifters she leads demand she step down, or can they be convinced to accept him?
RELEASED BY DESIRE is the second book in the CITY of SIN series, and my first. There is set to be twelve books in the series, Three each by Ursula Sinclair, Savannah J. Frierson, Taabia Dupree and myself.
It’s almost time
Posted: January 12, 2017 Filed under: City of Sin | Tags: City of Sin, cover reveal, Super secret Leave a commentto reveal all, but for now I’ll let you all know that I’ve been working with several other authors on a collaboration of 12 books all tied together, though telling individual stories, set in Paranormal Las Vegas. We will start releasing them in June and will release often so you never have to wait long for the next book. There will be more information available and I plan to reveal the cover of my first in the series next week with a little more information for you all.
Oh, wow, it’s 2017!
Posted: January 2, 2017 Filed under: Odds and Ends | Tags: deadlines, Goals, new years, resolutions Leave a commentDecember kind of slipped by me, or flew by, actually. Between getting ready for and taking a family vacation, the holidays and working on fixing the mess I made of my NaNo book, I kept my head down and plowed through the month, only looking up now and then.
Now it’s January and my schedule is only a little bit lighter! I still have writing and family stuff, without the big vacation and the holidays I can get more writing in, right? I’m hoping I have several deadlines coming up fast!
I’m not sure how long you’ve been following me but I have this thing about resolutions.. I don’t make them. Instead I set goals for the year. This year my main goal is to publish 4 books, both novels and novellas. Who’s on board for this one?
Wow, how is it mid-December already?

I’m working on getting ready for a family trip, as well as (okay, I admit it, slowly) working on fixing the mess I made out of my NaNo project. Somehow I managed to make a 30k word project take up more than 50k. How? By changing things in the middle and rewriting scenes with out going back and removing the wrong stuff. Now I’ve got to do that. It’s not what I want to do… I want to binge watch Bones… but it must get done so here I go.

NaNoWriMo Prep
Posted: October 20, 2016 Filed under: NaNoWriMo | Tags: Nanowrimo, National Novel Writing Month, novella, preperation Leave a commentIs going a little differently for me this year. I have 3 novellas I would like to get the first drafts finished on before the first of the year, so I’m working on those. I’ve already started the first one, but not to worry, I’ll have plenty left to write on the other two for November.
Some of the advantages I think I’ll find to this method are.. I already know the characters better than I have in previous years (these will be each novella focusing on different couples, but with an interwoven story between them all, so I’ve met at least half of the couple for book 2 in writing book 1.) Also in the work of interweaving the overlying story I have more of an outline. It’s not hard and fast and it’s not a detailed out line but it’s a start, and something I rarely start with.
Are you getting ready for NaNo? What are your plans?
