I’m excited. The whole trip will be a lot of fun. I’ll be teaching several classes and I have a space at the book fair on the 4th (open to the public! If you live in the area come on out!) I’m not sure how much writing I’ll be getting done but I have lots of other things I’ll be doing. I’m looking forward to a week of not having to feed anyone but myself, not having to make sure anyone else’s clothes are ready, or that anyone is doing their chores. What do you have planned for the next week or so?
I’ve already said I’ll be going to RNC, but who wants to know what classes I’ll be teaching, what panels I’ll be in on? Here they are:
Writing Groups, What they are and why you need one.
How to use NaNoWriMo to Kickstart your Writing.
Is Self-Publishing Right for You? A Look at the Pros vs Cons
How to Hit the Bestseller’s Lists as an Indie Author
Panels I’m to participate in:
Publishing vs Self-Publishing
Otherworldly Creatures… More than just Vamps.
There is a lot more going on that week, go to the website and check it out!
I know, signings, tours, etc. While once the norm are not common unless the location is semi-local to the author or the author is someone huge like Stephen King or James Patterson. Well here’s a new one for me.
Romance Novel Convention is scheduled for June 1-5 in Las Vegas and I’ve agreed to teach not one, not two but FOUR classes. Right now we’re working on exact titles and descriptions for the classes but I’ll give you details as I have them. But if you want to see me, this would be a good opportunity!
