A General Update.

What’s going on around here? I’m trying to get some writing in while I either hide from the heat (we saw 113F today, and we’re forecast for 117 tomorrow and the next day.) I tend to rush out to the car, from the car to whatever store I’m headed to, or into the gym where there’s a pool, then back to the car and house. It’s too hot out to think about staying out more. If I have to spend more than 5 minutes out side I do it either late at night or very early in the morning.

I’m also working on the last minute details of the release of Choosing Happiness next month. And I have an announcement I’ll be making soon. I’m excited, I can’t wait to share with everyone.

And the Ants go Marching One by One

Hurrah, Hurrah. Nothing really thrilling here, other than working hard at my second revision. It’s going well. I’ve finished about 80 pages in three days, not a bad showing. I’m totally exhausted so I’m going to crash soon. I was up way too late last night working. That didn’t keep me from having to get up and take kids to school. I tried to nap twice today, neither worked out. It’s probably going to take about 2.7 seconds for me to fall asleep tonight.

How are things over your way?

Week in review, Jan 13,2013

I’ve had a really good, really busy week. To begin with, the kids went back to school, this gave me more time and freedom to work on the project that hit me last Saturday, and with out giving a lot of details, it’s going very well. I hope to be able to share more news about it soon.

I spent most of the week hard at work bent over the keyboard, but it’s been worth it. Yesterday, however, I didn’t have a chance to do any writing, I was at a local book fair at our library all day. There were several other local authors, including Erv Barnes, Joie Carlton Hossack, and some others. We had a great day, met more local authors and even made a few sales. I had a blast and it only made me more determined to attend more such events and get out there a little more.

Today it’s back to the secret project, I’d like to get it done and be able to share it with you all.
