Hello Melissa, Imgine my surprise when I started reading your novel Robin’s Nest, and read towns I live in and around. I grew up South of Safford on a ranch and my husband a few more miles south. We lived a few years in Morenci while he worked at the mine. He just retired 2 years ago and buying his family’s ranch South of Safford. My brother lived in Duncan 5 years while teaching school. All of us attended EAC. I want to thank you for writing Robin’s Nest. I enjoyed it very much. You never mentioned the name of your favorite Mexican restaurant, mine are El Charro and Casa. I’m glad you enjoyed it. You might also like my Kitsune series, as it takes place in Safford. My WMC series takes place in the Springerville area, if you are familiar with that.
I grew up in Duncan, but have been gone for the last 20 years. I would like to get closer as I still have a lot of family in the area.
